Leaving Alameda, and heading into Oakland. The intersection of Ford Street/29th Ave./23rd Ave., where the 7-11 is, has drivers disobeying traffic lights. There are two left turn signals, for those turning onto 23rd Avenue. Some drivers who are in the middle left turn lane are turning even when the light is red. There are no signs indicating that is legally OK - to stop and then turn if it is safe to do so. Perhaps city planners should consider installing a sign, saying something like, "Left turn OK after stop". More police patrol, please.
