Description
Residents and guests use the space directly in front of fire hydrant as their personal parking spot. They also have placed a basketball pole there and use the area for their trash and recycling. This is an going problem for over 9 years. In the event of a fire the entire neighborhood is at risk because the is little to no access to the hydrant. Since the work during the day the inspection would need to be after 4 pm.

Police Checked the site this morning at the address and found no parking violations. They will do random checks at the site.
Traffic Engineering was contacted to start the process to have the basketball goal removed off the street.
