Thank you for reporting your concern with an important stretch of city infrastructure. A new shared-use path along the west side of Pine Street from Lakeside Avenue to Kilburn Street will be constructed as part of the Champlain Parkway Project, which is attached to a federal grant and will relieve taxpayers of much of the expense. This is scheduled for construction in the next 1-2 years. This project will also include raised intersections and improved crosswalk treatments to facilitate pedestrian crossings of Pine Street.
