Apologies for assigning blame to the plow...but the sign should probably still be put back up.

That is correct. Yesterday, a driver knocked over our mailbox at 115 Cottage Street as well as the crosswalk sign. The driver’s parents stopped by our house and will be taking care of replacing the mailbox.

I note that this is our second replacement mailbox in three months since the Post Office’s new requirement that mailboxes must now be right up against the road. I wish we could place it one foot back from the road. This is getting old!

Please fix the crosswalk sign, regardless of how it fell.
