Trailer parked on street. Violates City code.
Has been called to police many times. They do respond. The trailers still are there. THE POLICE EVEN ATTENDED a civic association meeting ast summer at the local alcohol store and said to call when this vioation occurs. Their comment is even in the association newsletter, and it cites the code number. The trailer should not be there. It makes no difference if it has tags, registration, inspection it is still illegal. In this case, the trailer posts none of those. The trailer trash people literally have trailer trash on the street.

Maybe they just don't have any money left for issues like this, what with giving away all that money all those years for convention centers, ballparks, Redskins, et cetera. Maybe they can raise the meals tax, then we can borrow even more money to throw away- but, at least, maybe we can fund getting this darned trash trailer of our streets.

Naming a request "trailer trash" is offensive and inappropriate. That might be why the city isn't responding. Also, no one care in our neighborhood cares about this. We are too busy thinking about community building and safety.

This is about community building. There must be a reason for this code, the law, to help us. Just like fence height, setbacks, having registered vehicles only on the streets, et cetera. Those people with the trailer ate scoffaws. They have been approached by the police recently about anothet trailer. What is offensive to me is the continual disregard of this code. Broken window theory. Maye that part of the reason people roll through our stop signs and speed here. And to say no one in this community cares about this is not correct. I do care.

Any chance someone can look into this issue?
The trailer parked there is illegal. If something is not done, I may post online to contractors, RV owners, boaters, et cetera and invite and welcone them to park in this neighborhood where they will not be harassed or ticketed.
