Description
There are literally tons of trash left over from the homeless encampment near the water tank. Since the trash wasn't removed when the homeless camp was disbanded, the homeless are coming back and tragging this trash through the park. Is it possible to get this cleaned up ASAP?

Called GVRD and spoke to Eric who explained that it is difficult for GVRD staff to keep up with the growing issue. They don't have the people power and two of their flatbed haulers are currently out of service.
That being said I saw GVRD and VPD in Hanns Park today checking on homeless camps and posting the No Trespassing signs. GVRD has also gathered several staff and pickup trucks to do some cleanup in the heavily trashed areas of the park. Thank you Eric!!
Overall the homeless and trash dumping issues are taking over this city, one park and one street at a time. I've only lived in Vallejo for a few years but the difference is very obvious. I will be making a call to the City Manager to find out what the city is doing about it; the culture of passing the buck just won't cut it anymore if the citizens of Vallejo want to keep their streets and parks clean and safe.
