Description
Last fall and again this spring I'm watching carefully bagged garden debris going out with normal household waste pickups. It is supposed to be separated so it can be composted. In quiries to the city last fall went unanswered.

This isn't a Parks thing. DPW wants reports of specific sightings of this. Here's the DPW Dep Dir's reply to my querry:
"Yard waste is occasionally placed on the garbage truck at the end of the route, with the blade of the truck down and the yard waste separated. Typically, the trucks are cleaned and used for yard waste at the conclusion of the trash routes.
Yard waste should be handled separate from recyclables.
If there is a particular location and time, we can research and ensure that proper procedures are being followed.

And ... the particular location has been on this website for months now; the DPW knows the schedule.
