Thank you for reporting this issue to Fixin' Dixon. The South Jefferson Street project has been left on hold due to weather. City staff has been monitoring the street to make sure there are no safety hazards until the contractor is back on site March 5th. We understand the street is in no better shape than it was at the beginning of the project, but appreciate your patience with the understanding the road will be repaired in the upcoming weeks.

Engineering Technician assigned this issue to Public Works Admin

Contactor is on site this week working on curb ramps and sidewalk replacements. They will beginning the replacement of the street section starting in two weeks weather permitting. Thank you for your patience during this project. If everything goes according to schedule, weather permitting, the project is scheduled to be completed end of April-beginning of May.

Granite Rock, the general contractor for the project is scheduled to start the street repair process on Monday, April 23rd. The total FDR process and repave should last until May 7th, weather permitting. During the week of the 23rd, the road will be in a rough condition and work hours may extend past the typical 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. - 7:00. p.m. as some of the processes require extended curing times.
