Description
The contractors hired by the city are once again massacring the trees. They kill several every year by hacking away at them. I thought this was corrected by having the arborist supervise them but they are as bad as ever. This has got to stop.

Call PennLine at 724.887.9110 to complain.
The city arborist is Michael Mather, but I don't have a phone number for him.

I will contact Mike and PennLine. But for these trees the damage is done.

2/27/2013 Thanks so much for sharing your very important concerns with Richmond City government. Richmond Tree Mgmt noted they have received several complaints about this work being done by a contractor hired by VA Dominion Power. A City Arborist went out to this location on Tuesday, Feb 19th, 2013 to assess this situation and made contact with Dominion Power and the foreman for the Pennline contractor. Richmond Tree Management has asked Dominion and their contractors to be less aggressive in pruning the trees that impact power lines
