Description

The NO PARKING placards still promise completion on December 31, 2017. The heavy steel plates are still cemented in place the whole length of Butter Street, Workmen arrive and leave regularly, but nothing seems to get done. Neighbors who complain about trespassing and damage in their front yards are told to call City Hall. Those who complain at City Hall are told to call PG&E. Calls to PG&E are not returned.

Even worse, neighbors who ask why the work is taking so long are told that the work needs to be performed slowly and carefully in order to avoid the risk of an explosion "just like San Bruno"!

So really, what is happening on Butte Street, how dangerous is it, and how soon will it be safely complete?
