Good Morning: I'm not sure who to contact. Our Driveway Apron is horrible. It is all cracked and really starting to fall apart. Isn't this something to the County will repair? I can be reached at the above phone number or ldanel@comcast.net.
Thank you,
Linda Danel

In accordance with Section 13-2-205 of the Anne Arundel County Code, routine maintenance and repair of sidewalks is the responsibility of the abutting property owner unless the County has damaged the sidewalk in some manner, such as underground utilities, including water, sewer or storm water or roadside trees within the right-of-way. Driveway aprons follow the same rule as sidewalks. They are replaced by the County only if damaged by a tree or utility in the right of way. If the sidewalk was damaged by the County and a tripping hazard exists, the sidewalk will be wedged with asphalt for safety. Wedging of heaved or settled panels of concrete sidewalk not as a result of County infrastructure is done as a courtesy and the asphalt wedge becomes the long term repair in many cases. Total replacement of the sidewalk is dependent upon the severity of the problem and available funding.
