If and when WSDOT vacates it’s Main Street property, it should donate to the city the portion west of Creston so that it can be converted to a new city park for the eastern part of the Lincoln Neighborhood.

Given the City’s water well which abuts the WSDOT property in that vicinity, I think it would be prudent to examine what should happen to portions of that site if vacated by WSDOT. The site is currently zoned R-22.
In sum; we have no direct knowledge of short term WSDOT plans in regards to that site. If and when that site is vacated by WSDOT, it would be prudent to look at the WSDOT site relative to the City’s interests in the water well station.
