I have left email and voicemail on Monday 3/19 for both of the contacts that were provided to contact CNR, neither has responded. Will attempt again Friday 3/23. Very disappointed in how this is been handled....

Thank you for reporting! The railroad company is currently working with the Code Enforcement/Community Services Division on determining a more permanent solution to this ongoing issue. The railroad company commenced with cleaning up its tracks within city limits on March 6, 2018. The tracks will be cleaned up in sections, starting with the spur at Lewis Brown Drive. SeeClickFix is one of the many tools available to the citizens of Vallejo to report non-emergency issues. The City of Vallejo is unable to enforce on the railroad company since the company is federally funded. We “close” an issue in SeeClickFix once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected. Besides one side of Lewis Brown Drive what other locations along the tracks has been done so far? It's now 3/23 so some sort of progress report would be appreciated, the canned response is already getting old. And thank you for using SeeClickFix, Susan & Sharon thank you too!

The City of Vallejo cannot enforce on these tracks as they are federally funded. You got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now your telling us that its our responsibility to contact the railroad company! Did you, COV, not tell us citizens back in February, then in March that the railroad company was going to start cleaning the tracks? Now that there NOT cleaning the tracks, the burden falls on the citizens? What kind of city does such a thing? You people are out of your mind! Phones will be ringing off the hook after this line of BS! Calling and emailing the contacts of the railroad is about the same as getting anything done by the city, useless! I can not believe this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
