Description
This road is should not be a thru-way for New Haven into Hamden. The road should be closed off at the New Haven/Hamden border. It would help make the Woodin street area of Hamden safer by removing speeding cars and drugs off the streets

I doubt that so many people speed on this road since it's so bumpy.
And I think if it wasn't bumpy more people would use it and speed down Wintergreen. I live on Wintergreen and there are cars that fly down the smoother areas toward New Haven. More often than not they're young kids driving customized little cars.

I don't think this suggestion is particularly productive or serious, and would probably not be in the interest of the regional council of governments, so I'm going to recommend closing the issue.
Feel free to reopen if you can get more neighbors to support this cause.
I'd also recommend dealing with the root causes of the problems you are noticing. There are many more effective ways to improve public safety and reduce speeding and noise.
