Description

After the Ridge shopping center improved the roadway that used to run behind the CVS, more people want to turn left from Broadway as they drive toward downtown. To avoid getting stuck behind people making this left-hand turn, which has no controlled left-hand turn signal nor lane for waiting, staying in the right hand lane does not always allow for getting into the left hand turn lanes at 51st. Please either make this turn illegal (after all, people can go down to the 51st signal and make a legal u-turn) or find a way to control it with a light and space for people to wait to turn. This is causing dangerous traffic maneuvering and frustration in an area that is becoming ever more crowded.
