Thanks for reporting this Chris.
This is not the first complaint about buses idling underneath the Convention Center. The Clean Air Council is compiling data so that we can report to Air Management Services with a strategy for targeted enforcement. We are looking for hot spots of idling, and if there is a specific time of day that idling happens. Please continue to report idling with the type of vehicle, company, time of day and length of idling, and location.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
