Msullivan ~ there are three businesses at that intersection: public storage, the compound pharmacy and the Wonton factory. We've worked with the public storage folks before on the Myst applications. Lets see, short term solution here, if we can get any of the businesses to direct lighting into the intersection. My 2 cents.

Good afternoon. The light pole that needs a new bulb is at the southeast corner of San Jacinto and Anita. The post number is 592610.

As I walked the blocks on Rosalie, Anita and Tuam between from Caroline to Fannin, I observed a noticeable absence of light poles. On these blocks east of Caroline, there are 2-6 light poles per block. Most of the blocks west of Caroline, have no light poles at all except for maybe 1-2 of the old orb lights. Thus, it's not surprising that prostitution and drug dealing occur in these areas under the cover of darkness. I recommend that MMD make a concerted effort to install light poles on Rosalie, Anita and Tuam between Fannin and Caroline so that these illicit activities are no longer easily concealed and so that residents feel safe walking at night to and from Midtown Park.
