Description
Prior to coming or going to or from North Haven and East Haven (Cloudland Road to/from Charnes Drive) cars speed at rates of over 40+ mph and crash into the large pine trees and on snowy/rainy nights/days. Cars will also do 360's and smash into the curbs and of course the constant sound of tires squealing all day/night.
This is a major concern for the neighborhood! Small children play outside (eample: a driver drove into one person's yard at the curve - during the day while the family was outside in the yard!).
Drivers who are speeding and unfamiliar with the area and/or may not realize how sharp the curve - are of most concern.
Police patrol should be sitting on the corner of Horseshoe Hill Road or Fortune Drive watching this careless drives speed and crash all night long at that curve!

This is a major concern! I have lived in this area for more than 3 years and have seen some pretty bad accidents on Cloudland Road.
There are never cops on Cloudland and the cars speed up and down this street and actually increase their speed before they come up to both curves, which are both blind spots for oncoming traffic!
I think the North Haven police department forget about this area of town most of the time.
What will it take for more police presence to be seen within this area and for drivers to learn that it is NOT OK to do 60 mph in a residential neighborhood??
