Still nothing has been done to this road other than the occasional patch job. The road is getting worse and worse by the month. We as residents are not the only ones who drive on this road. It leads to the Mass Pike Maintenance building, as well as an office for E-zpass. This road is a disgrace to the city , especially for someone whi has lived here most of his life. Please help!

Old Fuller Road Extension has been on the City’s list for road work. The ongoing sanitary sewer work for Bluebird Acres involves some trenching in Old Fuller Road Extension. We therefore did not want to work on Old Fuller Road Extension until the sewer work is completed.

The Bluebird Acres project is scheduled to be completed in the spring / early summer 2021. Once that project is completed, the City Engineering Department will complete its field work and prepare bid documents for the reconstruction of Old Fuller Road Extension. While no definite date has been set, I expect a bid package to be sent out next year. It is possible that Old Fuller Road will be reconstructed later in the 2021 construction season. I will update this SeeClickFix page and the Road Work Updates on the Engineering Page of the City Website with further information as it becomes available.

It is good to see that the road is scheduled for repair. Much of the traffic is from the turnpike maintenance facility.

I hope that the delays caused by the pandemic don't lessen the need for a full repair of the road.

A full reconstruction of Old Fuller Road Extension will be done this construction season. Full Reconstruction in that the road will receive a new pavement section, not just a mill and overlay. The Engineering Department is in the process of completing the design and bid documents. Additional information will be posted on the Engineering Page of the City Website once the bid documents are completed and a schedule is determined.

It Good to hear that the road is going to get fixed. Iv just moved in recently 2yrs in the neighborhood love the place. My main concern is the speed in wich these vehicles travel down this horrific road, I can only just imagine when it gets fixed. I have four boys ages 2, 5, 14 & 15 One with "SPECIAL NEEDS". These cars go by way over the 15 MPH limit as I have them recorded on my camera as to sum it up some DOT drivers as well. Police have been aware but it's no change. Is there any way SPEED BUMPS can be implemented in the process trust me when I say they are going to be a must. God forbid I wouldn't want any of my neighbors kids or mines been hurt by these people with no consideration. Please take this in consideration as I'm worried about our kids in the neighborhood that walk to the Bus Stop every morning and evening and play in there driveways when it's nice out. 🏀⚽️
