Description
created a new dangerous turn lane. Northbound 66th St. n. at 8th AVe. N., heading west, a new left turn lane has been created. Unfortunately, they cut it too short. When you make this left, you are turning diagonally across 66th onto 8th ave. n. facing oncoming 66 st. traffic. If you try to turn where it is located, you then will be turning head on into the eastbound lane instead of the westbound lane where you should be, facing oncoming traffic. Accident waiting to happen. If an engineer or inspector tried to use this, it's so obvious, this should never have been left this way. You need to extend the turn lane north. You stopped it too soon.

The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews old SeeClickFix reports in an effort to clean-up past issues that were resolved some time ago. We are now marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website or mobile app and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you for using SeeClickFix - Action Center
