Description

Commercial water meter meter at end of parallel parking spaces lacks necessary protective posts. It has been hit several times by cars parking there resulting in the pipe bursting and water spewing into street and adjacent houses, yards and buildings.

As recently as last week a car hit it and the pipe burst again and city had to be called to stop the water. Some type of post or protection is needed around it since cars will continue to hit it until that is in place.

cars have to park so that their bumper is nearly touching this water meter in order to fit into that parallel parking spot.
