How many more people have to get hurt to hurry up! How many more developments do we have to have built around the intersection before someone gets hurt

Two motorcyclists were killed about 2 weeks ago. Every day people come speeding from the direction of the Taconic towards Route 55. It is difficult getting out from Smith Road because it is difficult to see the cars coming on the left. Cars have to pull out much further, esp. in the summer when all the trees and bushes are full. I AGREE that people should not be in a rush. That may be causing it. A cautious driver, however, may decide to pull out and one of the speed demons on Noxon could hit. Something needs to be done. I had spoken to the Engineering department 3 years ago and was advised that there were plans for several hundred more homes off of Noxon Road. What then? As he indicated to me, that road was not meant for such heavy traffic. We need to take preventative action!

There still is nothing done to remedy the glow of traffic. It is only getting worse.

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years and nothing has been done. This is still not fixed and traffic is growing worse daily as more commuters are added to the area.

If lights are not possible, then speed bumps should be installed.

It is a terrible location. Please send someone out to look at it, especially during rush hour. It’s very scary.
