Cars frequently DO NOT STOP for pedestrians crossing at Whitney Street, despite there being a stop sign at each corner of this five corner intersection (Miguel/Chenery/Whitney.) Typically the problem drivers approach from downhill on Miguel Street and will proceed to cross Chenery without looking for pedestrians in the Whitney crosswalk. I've nearly been hit numerous times despite being cautious. I'm not sure what can be done but I wish the city would send someone out to study the situation. Someone WILL get hit here. Only a matter of time.
