While it may be true that West Haven doesn't have money to spend on less necessary issues, maintaining the infrastructure is important to reduce future costs, and I'd expect that some money has been budgeted for road maintenance. Even if there isn't money available at this point, it's productive to maintain a list of priority concerns for when money becomes available again.

?? Isn't Campbell Avenue still a state road??
The State of CT needs to do something about this not the City of West Haven.

I would like to see the City of West Haven do something about getting the State of CT to repave this road. Campbell Avenue is a main street thru the center of West Haven and should be kept in better condition. The intersection at Main Street is the main corner in the Center of town and is very uneven.

The Campbell Ave streetscape project is currently out to bid. In a couple months the entire road will get paved from Brown St to first Ave then UNH has agrees to pave from 1st ave to Boston Post Rd.

Work has recently started near Walgreens. The city says work will continue until November 2015.
