Spring is here! During this time of the year the DPW reviews all outstanding sidewalk repair requests. We take the entire list, separate it by wards and then rate each issue from Most Severe to Least Severe. When in your Ward we use this list to determine which sidewalks to start with. Thank you for your patience with this matter.

Can someone let us know what the criteria are for determining ratings? and how can we find out our street's place in the priority order? Most of the sidewalk on Cliff Street are impassable and desperately needs a few trees, in contrast to the newer sidewalks on the surrounding streets. People with children in strollers, the elderly and our handicapped neighbors have to walk in the street. We understand the immense challenge of the miles of sidewalks that need repair, but it would help to know where we are in the queue. thanks.
