Description

On the SW corner of the intersection of Newton and 5th St NW, vehicles are parked too close to the intersection, making it difficult for East bound traffic on 5th NW and North bound traffic on Newton to clearly see. There needs to be a sign placed prohibiting parking too close the intersection. I have been informed by our neighborhood police that there is a traffic statute addressing this issue. Lastly, our family has been nearly hit by North bound Newton traffic on numerous occasions.
