Description

The sundial fountain in Edgewood Park is supposed to turn on when a nearby button is pressed. It doesn't.

There was an issue opened here a few days ago that said it wouldn't turn OFF and had been running constantly for several days. My guess is they shut the water off until they can get controller fixed. Would be nice if they put out a sign or something.

My guess is the same as yours--that they're fixing whatever caused the water to run all the time and that's why it won't turn on now. I hope they can repair it before it gets hot again, because it's a really popular spot for kids to cool off. I'm in there almost every day to walk the dog, so I can look for progress.

John- Sorry if you were the one to post the original message about it being on all the time - I didn't check and thought I'd at least provide a possible explanation. Thanks for reporting this - it is a great feature, especially in this weather.

When I went by yesterday evening, the fountain was running, and the kids playing in it told me that they had to push the button to keep it running, so it sounds like the fountain is fully operational again.
