I am reporting this under "other" since the police response has been minimal to date. There is frequently open drug use at/near the Alewife T station. Between the MBTA and CPD no one seems to take responsibility to police this area. If you drive down Cambridgepark Dr right now you will see several people using needle drugs on the sidewalk in front of Bertuccis. This presents serious public safety hazards to the surrounding communities. Please stop overlooking the issue: we should not allow heroin use in our public transportation hubs, this is getting out of hand.
