this is not a pothole issue, it is really a repaving issue. potholes return soon after the repair because they are continually sinking

Melanie turns into Queens Place when it crosses Green Mountain Road and is in the same shape, they keep throwing asphalt into the holes and they keep sinking.

I sent this letter to Jennie Robinson to help us with this years old problem.

Back when Sandra Moon was in her first term, the folks on the Melanie/Queens Place were able to get her to step in and get the road paved (Queens Place turns into Melanie when it crosses Green Mountain Road). It was an exceptional job but within a year Huntsville Utilities came and replaced sewer pipes all along this newly paved road and those holes which were over 10ft deep have never held up, they keep sinking and they just keep throwing asphalt into them for a short term fix. When are we going to see a repaving permanent solution to this? We have complained, we have submitted requests through the SEE/CLICK/FIX program and all to little if any action other than a few shovels of asphalt occasionally. We need to get this fixed, Queens Place is one of only 2 roads to access the whole Camelot subdivision and we need it fixed. Your attention would be most helpful.

Lancelot Drive is sinking in the middle around 2511 Lancelot Drive also the speed bump sign ahead on the corner of Green Mountain Road and Camelot Drive is covered up by bushes. Anyway to get some one to check these out

The area right in front of my house off of Melanie Drive is also experiencing these issues. Im right across from one of the circles.

We don't really have a pothole problem on Melanie Dr and Foothills. The darn road is sinking and the city just comes along and throws more asphalt into the sunken in places. It is dangerous. You can get bounced off a bicycle because the road is so uneven.

It never occurred to me that children and adults riding bicycles are experiencing the same dangers on these roads as do the cars. A child on a bicycle is not prepared to handle these situations. Please repave these roads.
