Thank you for reporting! The Police Department's Community Service Section (CSS) has opened a case for this issue. CSS has one part-time and three full-time employees who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. We work hard to investigate each report in a timely manner, and will investigate this report as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind there is a lengthy process to remove illegal encampments. Do you mean to tell me that if I elect to spend my nights in Hanns Park that Code Enforcement, when the find time, will start some lengthy process to remove me? Why is my mere presence, after part hours, is not suspicious enough for an officer of the law to respond and take immediate action. It appears that "illegal encampments" have more rights than tax paying homeowners.

Drove past last night around 11pm, they were obviously camping there. Flashlights, cellphone lights, etc. at picnic tables.

See them everyday

Yesterday I drove past Hann’s Park and there looked to be a field trip there, around 30 kids at the picnic tables. All the bum’s junk was piled up in contraptions with wheels(carts wheelchairs, strollers) and lashed out into the grassy field and sidewalk.
Shameful that kids have to share this beautiful park and all its nature with a bunch a dirty unsanitary vagrants.

Homeless moved along
