Description
Twice within the last 6 months, two large limbs have fallen off a tree at 16 Montrose Ave (we live at 9 Montrose). One of those trees fell on the porch of 16 Montrose and the other just fell during the recent Deering Center microburst and almost landed on the church on the corner of Brighton & Montrose. The tree health does not look good and the last large limb to fall will be on our house and the limb is large and may damage our house and will take out CMP lines. CMP has been out to inspect and they have indicated that the responsibility will fall on your devision. We would like to see If we can resolve this issue before it damages our house and several cars in the process. Julie Kocian, 207-450-5631 and Jeff Radjavitch (POC) 781-801-7731

Thanks for calling this in, we checked our maps and noticed that the tree in question is on private property and is outside the public street right of way.
We are out evaluating trees throughout the recent storm impact area and will evaluate this tree closer when on Montrose Avenue. You can contact our Portland Forestry office at trees@portlandmaine.gov for more info.
Thanks
Jeff
