Thank you for addressing this issue. I see that a tree has been trimmed. My purpose of initiating this issue was that there are often broken limbs down in that area when there is a lot of wind or when there is ice or a strong storm. I happened to be in the area last Summer when one of your guys was inspecting. He explained that yes when there are storms, limbs will come down. He actually seemed to brush off the whole thing. I understand trees come down in storms. The issue is that many of these trees are rotten and appear to be fine. They are the ones dropping limbs. Some may be on private property but are hanging over the road. I was a victim of a tree falling on my van on rt 144. The tree appeared healthy, even had greenery on it. But it had been dropping rotten limbs for a long time. It finally gave way and the tree fell on my van as I drove by. I was severely injured and still have issues almost 10 years later. The trees that are dropping limbs seem to be mostly in the center section of the road in this area. My concern is that these trees are not being addressed. There is also a tree on the east side of the road almost at the end of this section that is leaning a lot over the road. I am not sure of the health of this tree. I appreciate all your help with this situation. I do not mean to be an alarmist but am concerned. I especially want it to be recorded that this area was brought to the county's attention. That is my responsibility as a citizen and what you do with that information is your responsibility. Again, thank you for all your help and hard work in this department. I understand it is a vast job and you probably don't have all the manpower to track down all of these situations. Thanks!

Nothing has been done to address this problem. After each storm there are limbs from rotten trees in this area. The trees may look like they have green leaves but they are rotten inside. The rotten trees are mixed in with ones that hang over the road. You can see the limbs broken off and tell they are rotten. People could easily be injured from these rotten Limbs as I was injured.
