They patched some of the worst potholes up a bit... but it still needs repaving. I assume they are waiting for some infrastructure negotiation between Somerville and Cambridge, or waiting until Somerville repaves Beacon. But it still damages my vehicle.

suggest installation of a raised crosswalk at the beacon/oxford intersection, to serve as the "speed control" that the potholes currently serve.

They did throw down some new patching -- but that'll get ripped up by the snowplows... I still have to ride the middle of the road - which means I'm annoying to drivers, and I would rather not be. I really think (speculation here) that they are waiting for the beacon repairs (and somerville ave must be finished before they shut down the only other main road that goes that direction.) So they probably won't fix it for a while, but I can take note... for as long as it is part of my commute.

oh, I'm likely not to text to anyone. They've been pretty good about fixing stuff that shows up on here... just not when its going to (theoretically) require more than we could imagine to fix it properly.

Ok, they are doing some major work on one section of it... I am uncertain that it will result in repaving...but it looks promising in the way that things look good until they don't actually fix the problem because it is not deep enough in either city to make either city feel that they've got to fix the problem on their turf. I believe the jurisdiction here is Cambridge -- but it may require negotiations with Somerville to make it all work out.

I can't monitor it anymore. I moved away. But I think They fixed it.
