Description

Related to this post on Nextdoor.com (https://nextdoor.com/news_feed/?post=88180808), Beach Park Plaza has an ongoing problem with overflowing trash cans and the subsequent litter it causes. The attached image exemplifies what condition these trash cans were in on a Saturday around noon. The property owners clearly don't care about cleanliness, the public's safety or worst of all, that this food-litter attracts rodents and other neighborhood critters.

If the city can fine homeowners for an unsightly front yard, there must be a city ordinance that holds commercial property owners to a similar standard.

And please don't visit this plaza on a single weekday, after the cleaning crew has been able to empty the trash. A hand full of visits at varying days/times are required to gather an appropriate sample size of this disregard.
