Still there, still overgrown, trashy and a sleeping area for drunks. Isn't the city responsible for the scratches I get on my car when I drive thru?
I realize the city has more important things to do like lean on shovels while pretending to work, drive around following each other slowly and etc, but maybe the police could start patrolling the area more often. We just had that double stabbing last week, the johns use our street as a drop off and pick up zone for the city's "finest and oldest profession", and the drug dealers 5 minute customers still park up the street..
We need several sting operations for this stuff, not baited and abandoned backpacks downtown.

If you want to get anything done about this issue, you'll make a complete pest of yourself. Start a broadcast email to every City Department that's appropriate. Be patient and persistent. Get some neighbors to help doing the same. You'll all be where you are for a lot longer than they'll be in office. The only way this community will ever cause this City & the courts to discontinue using your n'hood as it's minimum security prison is by organizing and voting.

Don't know why this is under the Broadway Central area, this is no where near Broadway and central...... that intersection is miles away.... the nearest major intersection is Pennsylvania and Central....

This case is assigned to the inspector who is responsible for the area of the reported address/intersection. The mapping information on SeeClickFix.com is not used by the city.

Horsehockey..... They're dumped even more stuff there and nothing has been cleaned up. Does anyone here have the connection to get the mayor in on this to see what his zoning folks are NOT doing?

Thanks. I'm tired of the city run around, so I've also reported it to all 3 TV stations, the mayor's office, and my city councilor. Let's see zoning dance their way out of this one....

Update: Per Zoning and Code Enforcement, the area was reinspected and violations were noted. The case has been reopened and will follow the legal course of action to address the issues. Planning is required by the Code to allow the owners 30 days to comply once the owners have been notified.

Ask him how you should approach this. It's Solid Waste who will ultimately have to clean this up.

Thanks 311 CCC, but it's been over 180 days since this was supposedly "fixed" by zoning.
Amazing what a little media focus will accomplish. The alley is now cleaned of trash and overgrown trees. No more sleeping, hiding spots for the transients in the area.
I'm closing the issue.
