A. In recent marking out traffic lanes and including a new bike path, for the first time, parking spaces were delineated on BOTH sides of the road. In all previous years parking was only on the West side and this was sufficient. The end result is that the remaining area that was laid out for traffic lanes do not allow sufficient space for emergency vehicles. On a busy day at Palmer Park, this could significantly slow down the arrival of emergency help to all of the homes on Hamilton Road and Pontchartrain Blvd, not to mention the Detroit Golf Club. This is a problem that deserves serious attention.
