Deskripsyon

Traffic backs up. Two left turn lanes mean that the few cars tuning left clear the sensor in half the time. Need to add a second right turn lane or block he second left turn lane or sensor the eight turn lane so the green lasts longer.

Thank you for informing the City about this concern. The Georgia Department of Transportation has the jurisdictional authority over vehicles entering and exiting GA 400. City staff will contact GDOT and see what can be accomplished in the short term to help alleviate this congestion. City staff will also continue to work with GDOT on developing a long term solution to this issue.

Recent improvememnts to the intersection of Mansell Road and North Point Parkway have resolved this issue.
