The lady at 29 ogden ave keeps feeding all the stray cats. We never had a problem in this block before with cats and now theres at least a dozen because she feeds them and then more come. One cat had kittens so now theres 5 kittens as well. In the photo above you will see a brand new cat that is now in the area. She puts food out for all these cats across the street from her home. You will find tons of containers from her putting food for them. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. I can not even enjoy my backyard because all these cats keep coming and lounging around. I do not even want my kids playing better yet they are scared to go outside because they are strays and who knows what diseases they carry plus the cat urine that is probably all over my backyard.

In the Spring these cats were joined by two young skunks! They would just sidle up to the cats and eat with them. When approached, the cats would disperse and the skunks joined them in flights. Once they learn their trade, however...

We would not have this issue if she would stop feeding them!!!! I did not see her for almost 2 weeks and they were not around as much. Once she came back and now they are all back again!!!

I have reached out to the landlord and am scheduling an intervention with the him, the tenant, animal control and myself. Thank you for letting us know about the issue.

I think that if she hadn't started feeding the feral/stray cats, we would not be in this mess. Now that we have this mess, I am not sure that not feeding them will resolve the problem, because they will just search for food in our garbage cans and other places, not to mention that they can become more aggressive.I think more has to be done other than getting the landlord involved. I think has to be some intervention from animal control as we do not know if the cats are carrying any disease. She also has gone on a Facebook group to say that she has been feeding them and that its become a burden for her, which indicates to me she will not stop.

Had a meeting on-site today with the landlord, tenant, Bergen county animal Control, and TNR program and formed an action plan, including steps to prevent cats from using neighbors' yards as a toilet bowl. All parties involved are on the same page and I will monitor progress. Please be patient and allow time for plan to be executed. Thank you.

Inspector Kristine if you so called had a meeting to prevent this issue then why is this lady still feeding these cats??? She needs to be fined for doing this especially after a meeting with all parties involved like you say
