I've posted about issues at 43 Chestnut for a year to no avail. The property has multiple diseased or dead trees in the back garden bordering Flint for an entire block, from Chestnut to Warren, with *many* dead limbs suspended over the public sidewalk, ready to fall on someone's head. Some dead limbs are suspended by wild vines and hanging by a thread. There are many families with kids and babies in strollers using this sidewalk, and I keep saying, it would be a horrible tragedy if they come by at the wrong moment. For that matter, there are limbs so thick (3") that they could seriously injure an adult. Now a roof collapse. Clearly the city needs to work with this homeowner on these alarming safety issues.
