I'm the homeowner and just wanted to add more detail. We have an asphalt curb along most of our property on Montclair. We don't have any curb along Willow Lane and we get a lot of water running into our yard from the street during heavy rain events. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks!

It appears that someone has been planting trees and shrubs in the County Right of Way which is against County Code. You can see the freshly overturned earth and the planting’s in this picture. 9/14/18. J. Barker

I seen very little erosion and I suspect it was due to the freshly overturned earth followed by a rain. J. Barker. I will try to contact the resident again at a latter time.

Also we have tried planting along Willow in an attempt to prevent or slow the water from coming into the yard. The issue isn't just erosion but the fact that a river flows through our back yard during heavy rain events which causes potential flooding issues not only for my house but all of the houses that are down hill.

J. Barker met with resident on 10/26/18. Everything that’s in place works well during a normal rainfall. Resident is concerned that we are getting more consistent heavy rain that inundates her property. The property across the street is at a higher elevation, which causes water to be directed at the road towards her property. I will contact Engineering to have them evaluate the concerns.
