Descrizione

There has been a sinkhole at 4845 Courville's driveway base for some time now with a DWSD barrier above it. The sinkhole had been a depression in the pavement. The sinkhole has since broken through the pavement, probably due to garbage trucks, with a hole over 2' in diameter and almost 2' deep. The depression in the paving is now around 8' in diameter. Is only a matter of time before a vehicle finds its way into the sinkhole. The location does not seem to be a catch basin location.

I reported this well over 3 months ago with no avail. City relabeled it as a catch basin issue and forwarded it to dwsd , there fix was but a barrier and forget about it! Several children play on this block and most of the neighbors are elderly ,gonna be a huge problem if another child has to be lifted out of this sinkhole!! Especially if if the parents end up suing the city and dwsd for not repairing this issue!

The city maintenance crew barricaded the issue 3 months ago , since then the barricade is almost completely inside of the whole . City should rebarricade the issue to say the least so passing motorists don't damage there vehicles driving into the SINKHOLE!

This sinkhole is now showing signs of the pavement sinking in the middle lane of the street. The sinkhole continues to grow.
