Description

Within the last few weeks, a vagrant has begun walking the streets and alleys of the Old Southeast neighborhood ALL DAY. EVERY DAY. He heads to Lassing Park EVERY NIGHT. White Male. Possibly in his 30's. Approximately 6 Ft. Tall, 225 LBs, Strawberry Blonde Hair, Ruddy Complexion. Usually has a backpack. Heads towards The Salvation Army at meal time, so I'm assuming he's eating at the SA and lodging in the OSE neighborhood. Prior to his "move" to OSE, I've seen him being handcuffed by police on 3rd Street and being put into a patrol car. Can someone PLEASE check on this situation? 1. He's not sleeping at The Salvation Army, so there is a realistic possibility that he could be in possession of drugs or is a sexual offender. Can someone check on those two things? And if he's a sexual offender, can you make sure he registers? We have young children and female joggers in our neighborhood. 2. Can you do multiple sweeps of Lassing Park each night to make sure he (and possibly others) are not camped out (especially in the mangroves in the north section of the park)? 3. Can you also check vacant houses to make sure he (and possibly others) are not squatting in empty homes?
