Be careful what you ask for. Two years ago a new sidewalk was installed in front of 356 Humphrey St. and within 1 year developed serious cracks. When the city inspector looked at it he said it was stress cracks caused by someone driving on it. There is a tree with extended roots at the bottom of this dilemma but he wouldn't hear of it. Now I have more cracks than before it was "fixed". Why would anyone drive on my sidewalk? Snow reoval is done either by shovel or sno-blower...
