I agree %100! Last year a child was hit crossing Vernor because there cars fly by. When the restaurants, stores, and gas stations have deliveries or are refueling that also poses a safety issue with them blocking the street. There are at least four schools, and a heavily used park. We need to put crosswalks for our children, better lighting because come children do before and after school programs and it’s dark when they walk to and from school, and more traffic enforcement. It’s sad that we are getting all this funding, and nothing has been presented to the residents about making our children’s walk to school safer.

Totally agree. Speed bumps should be considered on Clark and Scotten as well.
