Tried feeding new parking meter in front of Nic&Zoe's (for spot in front of Nic& Zoe's, closest to Hullfish St.) this morning at about 9:20am. It took several dollars of quarters, but stopped adding time at 30 minutes. Could not get quarters back to retry, was in a rush to make barre class. I think it couldn't handle one of the quarters and locked up - but, of course, it was happy taking more quarters with no addl time added. I'm going to park in one of the garages until I have evidence these are working properly. They ain't yet.
