The Municipality of Princeton has made a formal request to the NJDOT to study the feasibility of the same. Please keep in mind that this traffic signal, as it is on a State Highway (State Hwy Rt 27), falls under NJDOT's jurisdiction and, as such, they have the final say on how the traffic signal is configured. Although both the Traffic Safety Bureau and the Princeton Engineering Department can make requests and recommendations in regard to the same, it is up to the NJDOT to make any associated changes.
