On the Dulles Toll Road, officers routinely patrol for HOV violators; however, they pay no attention to other traffic issues, some which are traffic hazards. Where the Dulles Toll Road merges with 495 (specifically the inner loop), people routinely stay one late to the left and then stop and merge at the last minute. When traffic on 267 is moving at speed, one then encounters a stopped vehicle which is both a traffic issue and a hazard issue. If an officer was posted at that merge area, they could issue violations for those people hindering traffic. I wish I had a picture or two but I am usually driving and that would be dangerous! 
