Maybe if they fixed the surrounding alleys, more people would be willing to park off the street if they could. If you have a decent vehicle the last thing that you want is to ruin it by dodging all the "swimming holes" opening up in the surrounding alleys that practically swallow your car up. Besides, most streets in Pottstown are the same with two sided parking, problem is everyone wants to speed down Glasgow Street with NO patience just because it is a "two lane" street with a dividing line. Not all of us are blessed with off street parking anyway......waiting a second or two for a car to pass won't hurt anyone, however, getting your parked car damaged because of impatient drivers does!
