Description

The center island on Derby St by Congress St. The islands have been struck several times. I have been on scene for at least 10 different accidents in which all the cars had to be towed. Cars are hitting them at least 3-4 times a week. They are very hard to see at night. Their are no marking alerting people to the islands. This is costing the city and insurance companies a lot of money. They should be removed or properly marked. Ask Salem Police and Fire how many times they have responded to the struck islands.
