Description
The cross street of 65th on Southcenter Boulevard does not have sufficient signage for the crosswalk to the bus station on the south side, and there is no warning signs for west bounds drivers that a cross street is ahead. The westbound drivers, if not stopped at the light at 66th Street come flying around the corner way faster then 35mph, and even if doing 35mph it is too fast for people trying to turn onto Southcenter Blvd. from 65th. There has been multiple car crashes and pedestrians hit, or come close to being hit from unaware drivers that this is a busy and frequently used intersection. A Flashing crosswalk sign needs to be installed like for the bus cross walk just west on southcenter blvd. before the 61st intersection. There also needs to sign a caution cross traffic ahead signs to warn that slowing down is to be expected for cars turning onto 65th, the bus being stopped at the station, and for pedestrians in the crosswalk.
